Become a key part of the Carefor team as a Personal Support Worker, dedicated to supporting clients in Eastern Ontario. This position is focused on providing essential care within a structured schedule.
As a Personal Support Worker at Carefor, you will assist clients in daily living activities in a model known for respect and collaboration in healthcare. Operating Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., you will carry out tasks like meal preparation, companionship, and light cleaning. Your contribution ensures clients maintain an optimal level of independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid clients with eating, bathing, and grooming
• Handle light housekeeping and laundry services
• Prepare meals and provide social interaction
• Keep accurate reports of changes in client routines
• Follow Carefor policies in all tasks assigned
Requirements:
• Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent
• Clear Vulnerable Sector check within six months
• Current immunizations and a negative tuberculosis test
• Experience with Palliative Care preferred
• Vehicle required for client travel
