Community Y After School Program Leader

Role description

Work as an After School Program Leader at Community Y and make a difference in children's lives. This part time position runs from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
As a program leader, you'll oversee youth activities, ensuring safety and promoting healthy development. You will create an engaging environment through directing projects that enhance social skills and teamwork among children. Your leadership will inspire and empower them to realize their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide active supervision during all activities and transitions
• Enforce and uphold YMCA safety standards and guidelines
• Plan and implement engaging and varied activities
• Encourage positive interactions and healthy development
• Work closely with parents and communicate effectively
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is necessary
• Preferred experience working with children in group settings
• Must have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capacity to manage the diverse needs of children
