REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Board Status: Board Certified required
State License: IN License required or Universal License (IMLC)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ABLS
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases including obstetrics, neurosurgery, open heart, thoracic, and complex orthopedics.
Perform preoperative assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and obtain informed consent.
Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage ventilation, volume status, and hemodynamics.
Insert central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters as needed; manage post-operative pain including epidurals and extremity blocks.
Provide emergency airway management, resuscitation, and CRNA supervision when required.
