Ready to launch your career on a global stage? As a back-end developer you won't just be writing code - you'll be making a real-life impact. You will be at the heart of a production system that delivers critical information to over 5000 sales consultants worldwide. This system is rapidly expanding, bringing its benefits to a continually increasing number of users in more and more countries worldwide. You'll be actively helping to shape this project long-term, tackling scaling challenges, and influencing its expansion into new countries for years to come. With(in) your team you will:

Get the opportunity to make impact on a worldwide project as a recent graduate
Be a true consultant and efficiently translate customer business needs into end-to-end technical (data/software) solutions and effectively communicate them to business stakeholders
Leverage both your software engineering skills as well as your data engineering skills
Conceptualise, design and implement production ready data and cloud architectures on GCP
Build and deploy batch and streaming data pipelines
Work with a wide range of technologies, such as: GCP, Python, Dataflow, Terraform, Flask / Connexion, BigQuery, DBT, Airflow, Cloud Run …
Thrive in an agile environment, applying the Scrum methodology to plan, execute, and deliver value in iterative sprints
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders like: Project Managers, Product Owners, Business analysts, clients and Software Engineers
Proactively identify opportunities to integrate AI/ML solutions to enhance existing functionalities and unlock new capabilities within our systems

Why you?

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
An ambitious graduate with a passion for data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German/Dutch are a big plus)
Worked extensively with Python, SQL and Git
Experience with cloud based solutions is a plus
A talent for communicating results clearly and effectively, also to non-technical stakeholders
A consultant mindset and passionate about technology
Flexible, curious and willing to embrace change for the better
You have a valid work permit and do not need sponsorship from ML6 in the future
