Role description
Enhance your career as a Databricks Architect specializing in Informatica in Brampton, ON. This hybrid role emphasizes the design of scalable platforms using Databricks Lakehouse and PySpark.You will focus on developing both batch and real-time data pipelines, transitioning ETL processes from Informatica PowerCenter. Collaborating across business and technical teams, your work will define best practices in data governance and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect scalable data solutions with Databricks and Spark
• Implement data pipelines on Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Lead ETL migration initiatives from Informatica to Databricks
• Define and enforce data governance and best practices
• Collaborate with teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of Databricks, Spark, PySpark, and SQL
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or IICS/IDMC
• Data warehousing and modeling expertise preferred
• Familiar with CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies
• Databricks and cloud certifications are advantageous
