Role description
Day to Day Job Duties:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
- Build and support backend services, APIs, and business logic using Java and Spring Framework.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications running on Apache Tomcat environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in application design discussions, code reviews, and Agile development ceremonies.
- Perform application support and troubleshooting activities using Unix/Linux command-line tools.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
- Contribute to software release planning, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of Backend Development experience with Java, Spring Framework, Apache Tomcat (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, DevOps deployments, including executing commands and navigating the shell (Mandatory).
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise-grade web applications.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
