Role description
Job DescriptionStarting at $21.78/hr (up to $25.19/hr)
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret product drawings
Evaluate compliance with Cabinetworks Group wood character, machining, assembly and finishing requirements and educate on same
Complete quality audits of product and processes including Data Pak, Color control, etc.)
Prepare reports on quality/scrap
Gage Control
Measurement and testing of product to KCMA and Company Specifications ( Stain testing, Chemical test, Edge soak, etc)
Problem Solving
Must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow those instructions
Complete work with accuracy and efficiency
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Basic knowledge of the Quality Management System to promote awareness and use by associates
Perform tasks required for the success of the department which extend beyond the department

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Work in a safe manner and part of a team
Self-started who can work successfully without close supervision
Two to three years work experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Ability to read and interpret a tape measure and caliper
Math and computer skills including Microsoft Office and LINCS
Ability to read/write/communicate clearly and concisely in English
Ability to work in a team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, climbing stairs and pulling
May be required to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs as well as push/pull carts and/or pallet jack
Hand dexterity and strength
Overtime is required, including weekends sometimes with little or no advance notice
May be required to work a flexible schedule
It is an essential function of this position that you report to work on a regular basis
