Vacancy Sales Engineer
Role description
Remember those old Meccano sets? That’s essentially what we create for well-known companies like Bol.com, Kruidvat, DHL, and Wehkamp. Well, sort of. We design system structures that ensure their warehouses and sorting centers are used to their full potential.
Our company is growing rapidly. Even during the pandemic, we’ve received many new orders, especially from internet companies focused on online sales. That’s why we’re looking for a Sales Engineer to support our team.
As a Sales Engineer, your role is to identify customer needs, provide expert advice, and create designs to secure exciting projects. We’re not looking for a commercially driven negotiator, but for a tech-savvy, out-of-the-box thinker who can guide our clients in designing optimal structures.
You’ll be part of our project department, working closely with our Sales team, five 3D Modelers, two Structural Engineers, and ten Project Engineers on larger projects.
What you’ll do:
- Start by creating a concept design with cost calculations and provide technical advice to the client.
- Maintain close communication with the client, discussing the design and proposal.
- Once a proposal becomes a project, work with the Project Engineer to finalize the technical aspects, ensuring it meets all required standards and specifications.
- Hand over the project to one of our Project Engineers while continuing to support them on commercial matters.
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll spend around four days a week in the office, with one day dedicated to client and project visits.
Your Onboarding Process
During your onboarding, you’ll get to know our product and learn how we create designs in Revit. You’ll accompany a colleague to measure projects on-site, gaining hands‑on experience and in‑depth product knowledge. Additionally, you’ll join Sales colleagues on client visits. This will provide you with the foundation to become a fully trained Sales Engineer within six months.
Why Work with Us?
- You can fully unleash your technical expertise.
- You’ll be part of a young, highly experienced, and enthusiastic team.
- All your projects are custom-made – no repetitive tasks here!
- You’ll gain international work experience, as we operate across Europe.
- You’ll enjoy a versatile role, making you a true multi‑talent.
