Your job as a Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer with Technolution, you work in compact teams (2 to 10 colleagues) on very diverse projects. One moment you might be working on a system that predicts bridge openings in traffic routes in the Botlek. Another, you might be using machine learning to recognize patterns in grid operators’ smart meter data. You can be sure of one thing: at Technolution you will be working on new technology for tailor-made and often multidisciplinary projects.
Within your team you design, realize and test your own partial system. The focus is on quality and serviceability, and this is why you are given the time and the space to do your work carefully and deliver a good result.
You do more than write code. Together with your team, you determine what tools fit the job best, while always thinking of future consequences of the choices that are made. You are open to new technologies and are able to study the pros and cons of any proposed solution independently. You take your responsibilities in the project, work together closely with your team members and keep focused on getting a good end result.
Typically you
You Have
- A completed or almost completed Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in technology
- Knowledge of Java, .Net and/or Rust
- An interest in embedded software and electronics
