Senior Platform Engineer

Setup: Hybrid (1-2 days onsite per week)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our DSI team. You will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and evolving our modern platform infrastructure, supporting business-critical services and engineering teams.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in Kubernetes, GitOps, Linux infrastructure, and platform engineering practices. You will be responsible for maintaining highly available environments, improving automation, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our platform ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise platform infrastructure
- Manage Kubernetes environments and supporting platform components
- Develop and optimise GitOps deployment models
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Administer Linux-based systems and services
- Support networking integrations and platform connectivity
- Perform incident investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Manage platform lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, and maintenance
- Ensure platform security, resilience, and high availability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance deployment and operational processes
- Support VMware-based infrastructure where required
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
- Strong Kubernetes administration and operations experience
- Experience implementing and operating GitOps delivery modelsExperience with GitLab and CI/CD tooling
- Understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure integrations
- Experience designing and supporting highly available environments
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities
- Experience with VMware infrastructure
