A fast-growing tech scale-up is transforming mobile connectivity with its freemium global eSIM service — giving people basic data access for free in over 120 countries, and affordable high-speed upgrades when they need more. The mission: make mobile data fair, simple, and available anywhere without SIM swaps or roaming shock.

As they scale across Europe and beyond, they’re hiring aSenior Backend Developer to help architect, optimise, and scale the systems powering this global platform.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Enhance and extend a GraphQL API serving mobile, web, and internal tools
• Integrate with telecom systems, payment gateways, and CRM platforms
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to deliver impactful features
• Champion clean code, test-driven development, and observability at scale

About you

• 5+ years backend experience in Node.js/TypeScript
• Skilled in cloud-native infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Bonus: telecom, travel tech, or high-scale consumer platform experience
• Passion for building robust, high-performance backend systems
