Role description
Job Title: Instrumentation Mechanician
Engineering company in the Netherlands requires a trade-tested Instrumentation Mechanician with 2-3 years' maintenance experience in the heavy/steel industry. The person will be responsible for commissioning all plant machinery and equipment. Previous PLC maintenance experience is essential.
Person must be younger than 28 years and able to understand, speak, read, and write Afrikaans (essential to be considered for the position).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on all plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
- Perform instrumentation maintenance.
- Supervise the commissioning of all machine installations.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Trade-tested Instrumentation Mechanician with 2-3 years' maintenance experience in the heavy/steel industry. Previous PLC maintenance experience is essential.
