The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based data pipelines and AI data platforms that support our enterprise-scale initiatives in an IC customer space. This role demands technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience with Oracle-based systems in high-volume environments. Responsibilities Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management and building enterprise-scale mission systems, preferably within the federal sector Experience with managing geospatial intelligence data (vectors and rasters) Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCP Strong experience with architecting and implementing Oracle Databases AI-enabling data using Vector data type, RAG, and MCP Strong knowledge of ETL pipeline design (including data transformations) and implementation for large-scale data systems Containers/Kubernetes Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or other automation tools Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage practices Ability to work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DBAs, and business analysts Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and presenting solutions The ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility with poly required Desired Skills: Designing multi-modal databases that integrate multiple data types, including: Relational Spatial JSON Graph Knowledge of data security best practices and regulatory compliance Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in a data engineering context Creating and deploying RESTful APIs; Oracle API Gateway Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Database Certified Professional or OCI Architect Professional) are a plus Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC)-related agencies Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills Position is located in the Reston, VA area Qualifications Disclaimer: Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
