(Senior) Quality Assurance Engineer

Frencken Mechatronics Europe develops and assembles industrial systems for the semiconductor, healthcare, and analytical markets.
Job responsibilities
As the (Senior) Quality Assurance Engineer you will be the senior quality representative in the QA Team, engaging directly with customers on quality matters throughout the project. Your primary duties include:
- Serving as the point of contact for customers and suppliers on all quality-related matters.
- Ensuring correct and timely handling of quality complaints or customer reports through 8‑D root cause analysis.
- Initiating and coordinating corrective and preventive actions to optimize quality using tools such as PPAP, Pareto analysis, Fishbone, 5x Why, and FMEA.
- Promoting a Zero Defects mindset with a focus on the “First Time Right” approach within the organization and supply chain.
- Performing internal and external audits and ensuring adequate follow‑up of audit findings.
- Actively participating in regular customer team meetings.
Qualifications
- Completed technical bachelor’s degree (preferably in mechatronics, automotive, aerospace, or medical).
- At least 7 years of experience in a high‑tech environment or similar industry.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is an advantage.
- Experience in quality assurance activities: quality planning, risk assessment, testing, and validation for new products during transition to production.
- Ability to read component and composition drawings and knowledge of machining techniques and mechatronics.
- Experience with statistical data analysis and process improvement.
- Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001.
- Proactive, inspiring, accessible personality with strong communication skills and a customer‑oriented attitude.
- Strong analytical mind, able to work independently or in a team.
- Fluent in English and experience with a production‑related ERP system (Glovia).
