About the Position
What can you expect from the role of Junior R&D Test Engineer at Huisman? As a Junior R&D Test Engineer, you enjoy a hands-on approach and working together with engineers from various projects and disciplines.
In this role, you will work as an R&D Test Engineer in Huisman’s laboratory. The lab features several test setups that allow us to put technical questions to the test. We build prototypes or use fixed setups to perform mechanical tests. In addition, you will be responsible for the machines, maintenance and modifications to the test setups, as well as preparing, executing and reporting on the tests.

Responsibilities
- A detailed test plan, drawings and schemes of the test equipment
- Commissioning and calibration of the test set-up
- Execute tests and solve operational problems
- Informing colleagues about the progress and test results of the expected quality

Requirements
- MBO 4 level or Bachelor degree, preferably in Mechanical engineering
- Experience with 2D and 3D Inventor
- Affinity with conducting experiments and collecting data
- An eye for detail
- The ability to adapt quickly to new requirements and know how to prioritize
- Practical disposition and a good command of the Dutch and English language orally and in writing
Practical Requirements
- An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands
- A good command of the Dutch and English language verbally and in writing
