Project Manager, Facilities & Storage Programs:On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager, Facilities & Storage Programs for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client's Calgary office.
Project Manager, Facilities & Storage Programs – Job Description: The Facilities & Storage Programs team is tasked with planning and executing multiple integrity-driven maintenance projects across Liquids Pipeline system. The Project Manager will lead projects in programs such as API 653 Internal Inspection & Refurbishment, Small Tanks & Pressure Vessels, and CSA Z341 Oil Storage Maintenance.
Project Manager, Facilities & Storage Programs – Responsibilities:
Confirm project scope with sponsors and coordinate change approvals
Develop cost estimates for budgeting and scope changes
Work with the team and stakeholders on weekly and monthly reporting
Track project performance and facilitate change order processes
Ensure supply chain support through contract preparation and purchase orders
Manage service providers and internal stakeholders for project execution
Coordinate field execution plans and evaluate construction progress
Ensure contractor quality and safety plans are approved and followed
Project Manager, Facilities & Storage Programs – Mandatory Skills:
Bachelors degree in engineering
7+ years of project management or field engineering experience
Experience with API 653 tank maintenance
Motivated self-starter with ownership of work
Strong communication skills across multiple platforms
Ability to predict and mitigate project risks
Experience in Engineering, Construction, and Field Operations
Project Manager, Facilities & Storage Programs – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Familiarity with CSA Z341 standards
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Valid driver’s license
