Mechanical Project Engineer
G2’s client is currently looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their growing team in the South Rotterdam region, Netherlands.

LOCATION : Rotterdam/South of River Rotterdam region, Netherlands
The client is an equipment manufacturer working on process equipment for end‑client operators in the Oil & Gas industry for upstream projects. The role requires mechanical engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry or similar, with a background in design for process equipment such as pressure vessels, pumps, heat exchangers and P&IDs for skid packages.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineer with design experience.
- Working history in the Oil and Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical industries or similar.
- Experience working on the design and engineering of process equipment such as pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and P&IDs.
- Proficiency with standard design software such as Inventor, Solidworks, AutoCAD or similar.
- Knowledge of process industry standards (e.g., APEX, ASME, API).
Working Pattern
The role would be for four days in the office and one day remotely each week, with the option for flexible working hours and a hybrid pattern (one day a week from home available).
