Equipment Engineer (Electronics)
Location: Eindhoven, NL
Overview
Join our Manufacturing Engineering department as an Electrical Equipment Engineer in the Equipment Engineering team. You will help define and implement the roadmap for X-ray tubes and detectors, work in multidisciplinary project teams, and develop high-tech equipment across diverse applications such as high voltage, high vacuum, nano-ampere measurements, thin-layer deposition, precision positioning, high-frequency soldering, laser welding, and industrial automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-tech equipment for X-ray tube and detector production and advancement.
- Work on cutting-edge electronics and machine controls across a diverse range of applications.
- Collaborate closely with Process Engineering, Maintenance, R&D, and operations, and engage with external companies to develop machine concepts.
- Support production by troubleshooting process and production issues (~25% of time).
- Establish an industrial infrastructure for data-driven, interconnected (Factory4.0) processes.
- Potentially lead projects and develop into a project leader role.
Requirements
- Degree (Bachelor, HBO, or Master/TU) in Electronics or Industrial Automation.
- Preferably several years of experience in Electronics or Industrial Automation Engineering.
- Experience with software tools such as electronics simulation, PLC, LabVIEW, data acquisition, and data analysis.
- Experience leading projects or strong ambition to grow into a project leader position.
- Broad technical interest in software, mechanics, and physics.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Analytical, pragmatic, customer-focused, and quality-conscious mindset.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
- Experience with analogue technology and/or high voltage is an advantage.
