Training Period: Approximately 2 weeks on 1st and 2nd shift before starting on the 3rd shift Shift: 3rd (10:00 pm - 7:30 p.m. Monday-Friday) Apply today directly on our careers page: https://catallia.com/apply/ Position Overview: This is a hands-on position and will require that the individual be responsible for managing the day to day over all functions within the warehouse and overseeing the functions of the assigned warehouses; supervising assigned staff; accurate management of raw material and finished goods inventory, managing inbound and outbound transportation while following all safety, GMP, food safety and company polices. This individual will be responsible for contributing to a consistent, safe, and productive work environment through participation in corporate programs. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and order staging. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain the highest standards of product quality and safety. Lead the team of warehouse staff, provide work direction, guidance, and training and development as needed to ensure productivity and efficiency. Schedule and prioritize workflow to meet customer orders, while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing waste. Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to accurately track inventory movements. Identify areas of opportunity, implement training and issue corrective actions as needed. Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Analyze inventory histories to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including proper storage of food products and adherence to sanitation standards. Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and logistics, to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and resolve any issues or delays. Utilize warehouse management systems (PLEX) to track inventory, generate reports, and streamline operations. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency and productivity. Participate in regular meetings and communicate effectively with management to provide updates on warehouse performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Adhere to all Safety and Familiarity with food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Other duties as assigned. Specific Competencies: Previous experience in warehouse operations is required. Experience in a food production environment is a plus. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels. Ability to complete tasks accurately and completely. Ability to drive forklift and a box truck. Ability to identify problems and react appropriately. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues. Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with others. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum two years supervisory experience within a warehouse environment or food manufacturing environment. Minimum two years of experience in inventory control practices, within a food manufacturing environment. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean Motor vehicle record. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 60 pounds repeatedly. Ability to bend twist and turn frequently due to the physical count of inventory required. Frequent walking, lifting of objects. Prolonged periods standing. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
