Role description
Technical Support CoordinatorAs Technical Support Coordinator, you ensure improvement projects for facilities and (electro)technical infrastructure on the shipyard are initiated and executed. The role focuses on improving reliability, sustainability and continuity of the (electrotechnical) facilities. You keep an overview of progress, safety, quality and costs, and report to the Production Facilities Manager. You also coordinate impacts on operations with Operations (Niron).

Key Accountabilities
- Identify improvement opportunities in installations and facilities (including electrotechnics) and prioritize them with the Production Facilities Manager and Operations Manager.
- Transform improvement proposals into concrete action plans with schedules and risk assessments.
- Create a project plan and obtain approval from all relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate execution with internal teams and contractors, monitor progress, quality and safety, and minimize operational disruptions.
- Monitor the budget and adjust when necessary.
- Prepare and discuss project and progress reports with the Production Facilities Manager.
Analyze faults and incidents (cause/impact) and initiate structural improvements in consultation to prevent recurrence. Intervene personally on incidents when required.
Regulation and SafetyEnsure that projects and activities comply with laws and regulations and meet the applicable safety requirements.
Stakeholder and Vendor CoordinationActively coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers/contractors, establish clear work agreements, and monitor contractual commitments.
Skills & Experience• MBO+ / HBO work and thinking level, preferably in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or facilities/technical management.• Extensive experience in project management within a technical/facilities environment, including leading internal teams and contractors and delivering projects from initiation to hand‑over.• Experience with budget accounting, supplier/contractor management and stakeholder management.

- Salary between €3,800 and €5,000 gross per month (full‑time basis), excluding holiday allowance.
