A leading international financial services organisation is seeking a Technical Data Centre Specialist to join its Data Centre & Networks team, supporting critical infrastructure that underpins services relied upon by millions of customers worldwide.
As a technically minded professional with experience in mechanical, electrical or data centre infrastructure environments, you will work within a highly secure, mission‑critical environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, safety and continuity of strategic data centre facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of critical data centre infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical and environmental systems
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational standardsManage and coordinate maintenance suppliers and service providers
- Support asset management, technical documentation and audit activities
- Assist with infrastructure inspections, reporting and risk assessments
- Collaborate with operations, facilities and hardware teams to ensure service continuity
- Provide technical advice and recommendations on infrastructure improvements
- Participate in occasional out‑of‑hours support activities when required
Qualifications
- MBO Level 4 qualification or equivalent technical knowledge
- Knowledge of mechanical and structural experience managing technical service contracts and suppliers
- Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations
- Familiarity with standard NEN 2, NEN 767, NEN 31 40, ISO 27001, ISO 50001
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent Dutch language skills and basic English proficiency
- Service‑oriented and proactive approach
Desired
- Experience within data centre facilities management
- Knowledge of power, cooling and fire suppression systems
- Experience working in mission‑critical environments
- Exposure to asset management, compliance and technical documentation
- Electrical engineering or building services background
