Senior DevOps ServiceNow Developer
Role description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior DevOps ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Aurora, CO. In this role, you will help design, develop, and implement critical ServiceNow solutions that support our customer’s mission-critical business requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ·Develop ServiceNow solutions and enhancements using core platform capabilities to support business requirements. ·
Develop applications including configuration, report development, and data migration where applicable. ·
Identify and implement best-practice solutions to address client requirements. ·
Perform custom development and third-party integrations across the environment. ·
Perform unit-testing, resolve code defects, and migrate code changes to the production environment. ·
Assist with technical design and documentation to ensure platform stability. ·
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow. Minimum Qualifications: ·
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional IT experience in lieu of a degree. ·
5+ years of software development experience. ·
Experience working on a large and complex software development project. ·
Experience with developing Service Catalog and ServiceNow workflows. ·
Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash, or JavaScript. ·
DoD approved 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire. Preferred Qualifications: ·
Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) credential. ·
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer credential. ·
Experience working in a DevOps or Agile software development environment. Clearance Requirements: ·
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position.
Physical Requirements: ·
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. ·
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers. · The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
