The Senior Automation Engineer must bring extensive hands‑on experience across modern automation frameworks, SAP platforms, CI/CD quality engineering, and containerized environments. The role requires the ability to define, author, and drive automation strategies while enabling strong quality controls across the SDLC.
- Strong advocate of quality controls across unit, integration , and acceptance testing using tools like JUnit and WebDriverIO
- Applied knowledge of SAP offerings including S/4 and SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
- Understanding of programming languages and frameworks:
- Java
- TypeScript
- HTML
- CSS
- Spring Boot
- ReactJS
- NextJS
- TailwindCSS
- Ability to define, author, and drive test automation strategies using best‑in‑class platforms
- Proven experience with CI/CD processes and embedding quality controls into each SDLC stage (Shift‑Left mindset)
- Strong understanding of ITSM (ITIL v4) processes for change, knowledge, incident, and problem management
- Experience with containerization technologies:
- Docker
- ContainerD
- Understanding of REST , GraphQL , and event‑driven architecture (Pub/Sub, Kafka)
- Ability to understand customer needs and align testing strategies accordingly
- Drive to expand beyond functional testing into non‑functional areas (performance, reliability, resilience)
- Knowledge of diagramming tools:
- Diagrams.net
- FigJam
- Mermaid.js
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with Selenium
- Experience with TestComplete
