Role description

Enhance mainframe systems through a focused Analyst-Developer role. Use your extensive skills in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM while working onsite three days a week to ensure seamless integration.

This role, suitable for professionals with over 7 years of experience, involves analyzing business requirements and converting them into actionable technical specifications. You will play a key part in code optimization, root-cause analysis, and quality assurance testing, while also providing critical production support and documenting processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop applications with COBOL, JCL, and DB2
• Conduct analysis and optimizations for existing systems
• Participate in architecture and design discussions
• Execute testing protocols and support QA efforts
• Provide L2/L3 support for mainframe applications

Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years in mainframe application development
• Strong skills in COBOL, JCL, and CICS
• Experience with VSAM and SQL is essential
• Familiarity with mainframe modernization tools is desirable
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
