Full stack Developer (Data science & AI)
Role description
As a developer within the data science & AI team, you support the data scientists with programming work that is separate from the development of the model in question. This includes building API frameworks for releasing models (using DevOps pipelines) and making (public) resources/services available to the data scientist in the form of an API. You also develop user interfaces to make the functionality of these models easily available to end users. You also guarantee code quality together with the team and architecture. Contributing to code reviews, coaching the team in object-oriented programming and ensuring reference architecture choices/guidelines are important tasks.

You also support custom (Azure) solutions where, for example, large quantities of documents are indexed, provided with embeddings and stored (including additional metadata) in a document store. If necessary, you build ingest methods to periodically store data science-related (open) data sources (e.g. open data/APIs) in a generic way within the platform.
