Data Centre Site Manager

We are expanding our European Data Centre operations Team with a Site Manager who is responsible for managing all aspects of the DC Campus in Amsterdam. This position is part of the core DC Campus Team, alongside the Critical Environments Manager and the Site Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Drive the success and performance of a sustainable, state-of-the-art DC Campus with your team and vendors.
- Ensure Data Centre operations comply with global standards, local regulations, policies, and training.
- Lead the local team and coordinate with regional teams.
- Maintain supplier and OEM relationships.
- Respond to site callouts outside office hours (every three weeks).
- Oversee HSE for your area.
- Oversee the P&L for the Campus.
- Own and run all customer relevant reporting & meetings.
- Be accountable that customer process will be integrated into our workflows.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and work on continuously improvement at any stages.
- Act as focal point for the local client to support and help with any query.
Qualifications
- Technical degree
- 10+ years' DC Operations experience with global clients.
- Proven experience with operating a DC with more than 20 MW.
- Strong technical knowledge (UPS, HVAC, power distribution, network technologies…)
- Committed to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Experienced people leader with a record of driving team engagement and results.
- Skilled at handling critical situations.
- Ability to manage a range of external suppliers and services.
- Familiar with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication in English and Dutch. xgiwjmb
In this role, you report to the Lead Data Centre Operations Continental Europe.
Important remark: the expected onboarding for this position is foreseen in Q1 2027.
