Automation Tester
Halifax, NS (4x onsite a week)
Contract – CAD$45–50 per hour, inclusive.
Interview: Face‑to‑face onsite only.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
- Execute automated and manual test cases as required.
- Identify logs and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams to understand requirements.
- Ensure test coverage across functional regression and integration testing.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Python.
- Hands‑on experience with Robot Framework.
- Good understanding of software testing concepts and QA processes.
- Experience with test case design and defect management tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Nice to Have
- API testing experience.
- Exposure to Selenium or other automation tools.
- Banking or Capital Markets domain experience.
