Operations Advisor

Role description

As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest financial organisations, I am seeking for an Operations Advisor for a 12 months+ contract in Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Advisor and Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the use, further development and future-proofing of these applications. You are closely involved in Functional Management and advise on the strategic direction, the ability to use it adequately and ensure the continuous improvement. You work at the intersection of IT, policy and implementation and steer towards valuable, reliable and future-oriented solutions in conjunction with the broader process chain with applications.

With your knowledge and experience in the field of the financial processes of the government, you are a substantive authority and advisor to the executive colleagues and the owners of the process that is supported by the applications. At the same time, you are the bridge between users, IT people and decision-makers, always aiming for the best solution for efficient, lawful, transparent and auditable financial management.

Experience:

• Work experience at university level, preferably in a financial or ICT field.
• Experience as a Senior Advisor or Senior Business Analyst within a financial cluster within the central government is an advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of the financial laws and regulations within the central government (such as RBV, RBB, Accountability Act).
• Experience with agile working and managing development teams.
• Strong advisory skills, political-administrative sensitivity and a vision of the future of public finances.
• Knowledge of and experience with Cloud infrastructure is an advantage.
• Knowledge of application development and .NET is an advantage.
• Understanding what a data model is and being able to translate models into business processes and vice versa is an advantage.
