Candidate Profile
- A proactive team player with strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Intermediate vocational education (MBO) or higher, preferably in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, ideally in the maritime industry.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Superintendent (Electrical), you will ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of vessel electrical systems and mission equipment. Your role will combine office-based work in Rotterdam with occasional international travel to support projects.
- Provide technical expertise on vessel electrical systems and mission equipment.
- Advise management on the daily operational status of electrical systems.
- Define requirements for electrical installations based on project and operational needs.Evaluate and test supplier proposals against specifications.
- Support vessel crew members in troubleshooting electrical and mission equipment issues.
- Prepare and oversee electrical-related repairs and dockings.
