Role description

Join Donna Cona Inc. as a Structured Cabling and Electrical Specialist stationed in Nunavut. This role focuses on design, installation, and maintenance of cabling across various environments.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Structured Cabling and Certified Electrician with strong troubleshooting skills in fiber and copper systems. Your experience with electrical testing equipment and ability to handle various terrain conditions will be key. This role also includes mentoring junior technicians and ensuring safety compliance during cabling operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain telecommunications cabling including terminations
• Perform validation testing for cable certification
• Support the logistics of shipping and staging of materials
• Collaborate with network teams during community deployments
• Create accurate as-built documentation for projects

Requirements:
• Belden certificate and Red Seal in electrical discipline
• Knowledge of structured cabling materials and tools
• Proven experience in fiber optic installation and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently under diverse outdoor conditions
• Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code principles
