Senior Estimator - General
Role description
A superb opportunity for an accomplished Senior Estimator to join a leading international engineering organisation. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in FEED and EPC cost estimating, supporting major projects across the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cost estimating activities for FEED and EPC proposals.
- Review ITB/tender documentation and identify commercial, technical and project risks.
- Prepare engineering, procurement, project management and construction cost estimates.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines to obtain accurate estimating inputs and meet bid deadlines.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare equipment and bulk material cost estimates.
- Produce feasibility studies including NPV, IRR and payback calculations.
- Estimate project man-hours, assess execution risks and recommend appropriate contingencies.
- Benchmark costs using historical project data and maintain the company cost database.
- Participate in proposal reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years' engineering experience, including at least 5 years in FEED/EPC cost estimating.
- Proven background within the Oil & Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical industries.
- Strong understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings and estimating methodologies.
- Experience evaluating vendor quotations and preparing accurate project cost models.
- Advanced MS Excel skills with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- EU citizenship is preferred.
