Lead Planner | Amsterdam, the Netherlands
We are currently recruiting for experienced Lead Planners to join a leading engineering contractor delivering some of Europe's largest Data Centre projects.
About the Role
As a Lead Planner, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale Data Centre projects, working closely with project teams to develop, monitor and manage construction programmes from pre-construction through to project completion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes.
- Produce fully resource-loaded schedules and monitor project KPIs.
- Track planned vs actual progress using earned value analysis.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards and project metrics.
- Work alongside construction teams to identify programme risks and manage change control.
- Attend client and internal project meetings.
- Monitor project budgets against programme changes and scope growth.
- Track fabrication and on-site installation progress.
- Monitor labour productivity and analyse spent vs earned hours.
- Produce weekly construction reports and look-ahead programmes for project teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
- 3-5+ years' experience in a planning role, ideally within M&E, Data Centres, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical or large-scale construction projects.
Required Skills
- Strong experience using Primavera P6.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work on site on either a standard working week or rotational basis.
