Job Description
As an Integration Engineer for HVAC Requirements Management, you will play a pivotal role in defining and managing system requirements for HVAC-R installations on naval vessels. Working closely with engineering, verification & validation (V&V), and test & integration (T&I) teams, you will use tools like IBM Rational DOORS and operate within the Systems Engineering V-model to ensure flawless integration of HVAC systems.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage and document HVAC-R system requirements in DOORS, ensuring adherence to SMART criteria;
- Ensure all HVAC-R requirements support engineering, V&V, and T&I activities;
- Handle change requests within the V-model, maintaining traceability across teams;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate and implement requirements and changes effectively;
- Analyse and manage project requirement data;
- Organise and streamline technical documentation processes within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, or similar;
- Proven experience in requirements and change management within technical projects;
- Familiarity with IBM Rational DOORS or similar RM tools; HVAC systems knowledge is a plus;
- Strong analytical mindset, organisational skills, attention to detail, and team orientation;
- Fluency in English; Dutch and German are a plus;
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport required; pre-employment security screening applies.
