Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for projects located in the Buffalo, NY area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $50/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: Safely operate heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, skid steers, backhoes, motor graders, rollers, telehandlers, and off-road equipment Perform excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation Load, move, and stockpile materials safely and efficiently Excavate around existing underground utilities Read grade stakes, site plans, and blueprints Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance Communicate effectively with supervisors and ground crews Follow all OSHA regulations and jobsite safety requirements Requirements Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment Experience in commercial, civil, utility, roadway, or site development projects Ability to read grade stakes, blueprints, and site plans OSHA 10 Certification is a plus, but not required CDL, NCCCO, or other equipment certifications are a plus Company Details Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
