Experienced Security Engineer for Tigera

Role description

Transform security protocols at Tigera as a Senior Security Engineer in Vancouver (Hybrid). Lead efforts in vulnerability management and threat intelligence for cloud-based solutions.

As part of the Tigera team, you will spearhead security initiatives across our Calico portfolio. Your extensive background in product security will enable you to effectively assess vulnerabilities and collaborate with engineers on security best practices. This role offers the opportunity to innovate in security tooling and drive industry-leading cloud security standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee vulnerability management across Calico product lines
• Execute threat modeling and security design reviews
• Validate code security through secure coding guidelines
• Build security tools and contribute to code security improvements
• Participate in SIRT and support post-incident reviews

Requirements:
• 5+ years of practical security engineering experience
• Proven ability in vulnerability triage and remediation
• Experience with application and cloud security testing
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and major cloud providers
• Excellent writing skills for creating security advisories
