Insight Global is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a 12-month contract role focused on electrical systems and automation. This position allows for hands-on involvement in design and installation phases.
Bring over five years of electrical engineering experience to this role, where you'll be responsible for creating and reviewing electrical drawings consistent with CSA standards. You will also provide support during the installation and commissioning of electrical systems in industrial environments. Collaboration is key, as you'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and review electrical drawings and schematics
• Participate in the installation and start-up of systems
• Collaborate with various stakeholders for quality solutions
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in the field
• Maintain compliance with technical standards
Requirements:
• 5+ years in electrical engineering or a related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design software
• Strong skills in interpreting technical documents
• Experience in industrial or automation settings
• Familiarity with CSA and electrical regulatory codes
