This four-month opportunity allows you to work closely with professionals in maintenance and operations.Designed for third or fourth-year engineering students, this placement focuses on engaging with projects related to BCRTC's rail assets. Responsibilities involve researching technical issues, developing standards, and ensuring compliance in engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with engineering maintaining rolling stock and rail systems
• Research and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Contribute to design standards and process compliance efforts
Requirements:
• Third or fourth-year engineering student preferred
• Currently enrolled in a BC university engineering program
• Strong academic background in relevant engineering fields
• Experience using AutoCAD and skilled in Microsoft Office
• Valid BC class 5 driver’s license preferred
