Job Description Lead Ford Technician – Drive Shop Operations for KOENECKE FORD \n \n Job Overview \n \n Company: KOENECKE FORD \n Salary/Pay Rate: $70,000 - $90,000 per year \n Location: Reedsburg, WI \n Open to candidates who are local or willing to relocate to the Reedsburg, WI area. \n Job/Employment Type: Full Time \n Project Scope: Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Government Civil & Heavy Construction Projects \n Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Ford Certification \n We are open to candidates without Ford Certification, but they must be willing to obtain it. For the right candidate, we will cover the full cost of earning the certification. \n \n \n The Opportunity \n You will step into a key leadership role as the Super Bowl quarterback of our service department, driving technical excellence and team culture. You will escape the corporate atmosphere while leading shop operations with complete personal integrity in a beautiful South Central location. \n \n How You Will Make an Impact \n \n Lead repair, maintenance, and diagnostic workflows for Ford and other vehicles. \n Direct daily shop activities with absolute honesty, serving as the lead technical anchor for the service department. \n Mentor junior technicians to foster strong team chemistry and raise technical standards across the shop. \n Troubleshoot complex electrical, engine, and powertrain issues on specialized equipment to ensure minimal downtime. \n Collaborate with service management to streamline job scheduling, parts procurement, and workflow efficiency. \n Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols while maintaining top-tier quality control on every job. \n \n \n Required Qualifications & Experience \n \n Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing. \n Active Ford Certification and specialized manufacturer training credentials. \n Completion of a formal Trade Program or Technical Certification. \n Demonstrated leadership qualities rooted in personal character, transparency, and professional integrity. \n Position is 100% onsite in Reedsburg, WI. \n \n \n Preferred Qualifications & Experience \n \n Experience leading service shop operations or managing technician workflows in a dealership setting. \n Extensive technical knowledge across civil construction, industrial, and agricultural machinery. \n Advanced safety training certifications including OSHA, fall protection, or lift operations. \n \n \n Compensation & Benefits \n \n Competitive hourly pay rate of $30 to $40 per hour. \n Sign-on bonus and performance-based bonus opportunities. \n Full medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. \n Paid time off program including vacation and paid holidays. \n Ongoing manufacturer training and paid apprenticeship programs. \n Relocation assistance for qualified candidates joining our Reedsburg location. \n Internal referral bonus program. \n \n \n About Us \n KOENECKE FORD is a trusted name in heavy construction and agricultural equipment, boasting a proud 43-year legacy of local business success.
