EMEA Recruitment is proud to work exclusively with a global logistics business in its search for a Senior Financial Controller to join its Finance team in Eindhoven.

Working in tandem with the Business Controllers, you will support a proactive and ambitious Finance Director, while engaging with both local and global stakeholders across the business.

This is a great opportunity in a fast-paced environment for a Senior Financial Controller with an independent mind who enjoys identifying where to make a difference within a digital-forward environment.

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Controller:

• Participate in the financial month close process
• Prepare account reconciliations and explanations and correction on any variances
• Perform analytical review to ensure correctness of the numbers
• Support in creating insight into OPEX and FTE cost for SG&A supporting functions
• Act as the primary point of contact for site-level Finance operation
• Interaction with multiple stakeholders in the organization
• Supervision of other members of the Finance team

Experienced required:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
• Demonstrated a minimum 6-10 years’ experience in a similar role
• Logistics industry experience preferred - must have experience with producing annual reports of similar sized business
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Knowledge of IFRS and a Big 4 background is beneficial
• Fluent in Dutch and English is essential
• Experience with SAP is important, experience with BAAN would be advantageous
