**Job Title: Mechanical and Electrical Assembler****Job Description**
Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of parts and components using written work instructions, diagrams, and hand and power tools. Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards, follow safety procedures, and contribute to daily production goals in a clean and organized work area.
**Responsibilities**
Assemble mechanical and electrical parts, including nuts, bolts, and hardware, according to written work instructions and diagrams.
Perform wiring tasks as required for mechanical and electrical assemblies.
Use hand and power tools such as impact guns, wrenches, screwdrivers, and torque tools to complete assembly work.
Inspect parts and completed assemblies for accuracy, proper fit, and overall quality.
Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Identify and report any assembly issues, material defects, or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
Meet daily production goals while consistently maintaining high quality standards.
Handle general labor tasks related to assembly and production as needed.
**Essential Skills**
2+ years of experience performing mechanical and electrical assembly.
Proficiency using hand and power tools, including impact guns, wrenches, screwdrivers, and torque tools.
Ability to read and follow written work instructions and diagrams, including basic blueprints.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as part of daily work.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality in assembly work.
Good communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members.
Experience working in assembly or general labor environments.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
HVAC assembly experience is preferred.
Comfort working with both mechanical and electrical components.
Ability to work independently while meeting production targets.
Strong commitment to safety and maintaining an organized work area.

**Work Environment**
This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Work is performed in a production and assembly environment using hand and power tools, including impact guns, wrenches, screwdrivers, and torque tools. The role involves standing for extended periods, handling mechanical and electrical components, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The workspace is organized and safety-focused, with an expectation of maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the shift.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
