What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 8–15+ years in software engineering, including senior leadership roles
- Proven experience scaling engineering organisations from Series A to Series B / C
- Strong background in backend-heavy, platform or marketplace environments
- Experience in B2C, B2B2C, or marketplace models strongly preferred
- Experience working with distributed, remote-first teams
Technical Background
- Strong technical foundation with deep backend credibility
- Comfortable discussing architecture, scalability, and system design in depth
- Experience with cloud-native platforms, microservices, APIs, and data systems
- Able to go deep technically when needed, even if not coding daily
