Vacancy Information
As a High Voltage Cost Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of complex energy and infrastructure projects by developing accurate and competitive cost estimates. Working within a multidisciplinary tendering team, you will analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and commercial documentation to create reliable calculations that support strategic project decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing tender documents, technical specifications, and project requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Preparing detailed project calculations and ensuring alignment with tender objectives and client requirements.
- Collaborating with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Contract Management, and QHSE teams to gather and validate cost information.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of estimating methodologies, tools, and internal processes.
- Providing clear handovers to project execution teams following successful tender awards.
- Reviewing completed projects and historical tenders to identify lessons learned and improve future estimates.
- Contributing to projects ranging from smaller technical assignments to large-scale energy infrastructure projects valued at more than €100 million.
What You Need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working on high-voltage projects, particularly within substations or power infrastructure.
- Experience with cost estimating, tendering, project calculations, or bid preparation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical and commercial information.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English.
- A results-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.
