Role description
Travel Registered Nurse providing critical care in ICU, Step‑Down, or LTAC settings for an 8‑week assignment in or near Belton, Missouri. Works with ventilator patients, monitors vital signs, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and maintains detailed documentation. Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU, Step‑Down, or LTAC patients, including ventilator management and complex patient assessments.
Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, interventions, and responses in electronic health records.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, demonstrating expert judgment and maintaining patient safety standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent RN qualification.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
1+ year of recent ICU, Step‑Down, or LTAC experience.
Comfort with ventilator patient care.
Ability to work night shifts.
Strong critical care skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Adaptability to various clinical settings.
