Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown OR ICU experience REQUIRED

EPIC experience REQUIRED

5-bed Med-Surg rotation REQUIRED for ALL

All applicants must float to med-surg

Competency Test:

Neuro-Progressive competency exam required upon offer

Certifications:

RN License required (Active NY or Compact)
Standard certifications (BLS, ACLS - verify)
Submission & Assessment Requirements

Upon Offer:
Neuro-Progressive competency exam (must pass)
Neuro-Progressive skills checklist (must complete)
EPIC experience verification
At Submission:
Confirm neuro progressive/stepdown OR ICU experience
Demonstrate EPIC proficiency
Willingness to rotate to med-surg patients

Neurological patient population
Progressive care/stepdown level acuity
Post-acute neuro patient management
Neuro-specific interventions and monitoring
Floating Requirements:

5-bed Med-Surg rotation REQUIRED for ALL nurses
Must be able to care for medical-surgical patients
Flexibility across unit assignments expected
Schedule Requirements
