Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum.
Assess, monitor, and manage maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
Deliver postpartum and Mother/Baby nursing care, including patient assessments, education, and discharge planning.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Accurately document patient care using

Epic EMR .
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies and neonatal resuscitation situations.
Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Minimum

2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience .
Recent

Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience .
Experience using

Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) .
Active

New Hampshire RN License

or

Compact RN License .
Active

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification .
Active

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification .
Must have a

personal vehicle

for transportation (required).
