We’re seeking a

strong Labor & Delivery Nurse Leader

to support unit operations and provide hands-on clinical leadership. This role is perfect for experienced L&D nurses with

charge or supervisory experience

who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional maternal care.

Key Responsibilities
Provide

unit-based leadership

in collaboration with Nurse Manager and physicians
Supervise and support nursing and ancillary staff during shifts
Oversee patient care delivery to ensure

safety, quality, and efficiency
Act as

Charge Nurse

and step in for direct patient care as needed
Coordinate care plans and facilitate communication across teams
Monitor patient outcomes and drive

quality improvement initiatives
Ensure a positive patient and family experience

✅ Requirements
Active

RN License (CA or compact eligible)
5+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience – REQUIRED

⚠️
Charge Nurse experience – REQUIRED
BLS (AHA)

– Required
ACLS (AHA)

– Required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

– Required
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (within last 2 years) – REQUIRED
