Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months of hire

AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS

AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS

AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS

Minimum Experience Requirements

One year in acute care experience

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Required Skills

Accurate triage assessment

Medication administration

Intravenous therapy

Care & maintenance of indwelling catheters & drains

Safe use of medical equipment in critical care

ECG rhythm interpretation

Care during Code Blue, Code Stroke, Sepsis, and Trauma Activations
