Requirements

36 months (3 years) recent Emergency Department experience
First-time travelers accepted (must have 3 years ED experience)
Experience with both

adult and pediatric

patients
Level II Trauma

experience required (Level I preferred)
Experience with:

Behavioral Health patients (highly preferred)
Sedation & vasoactive drips
Cardiac telemetry interpretation

Active

Iowa RN License

or Compact License
BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC

(AHA/ARC)

50 miles (10% bill rate reduction for locals)

Schedule
3x12hr Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Every 4th weekend
Holiday rotation (required to work 1–2 of the 3 major summer holidays unless the unit is closed)
No Call
Floating
Required to float between:
Iowa Methodist Medical Center
Iowa Lutheran Hospital
Methodist West Hospital
Float assignments will remain within contracted skill set.
