Schedule:

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30). Weekend coverage required to meet staffing needs. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
Highlights:

26-week travel assignment in a community hospital setting caring for a culturally diverse population
Labor and Delivery unit with 11 rooms and 15 beds, average daily census of 15-20 patients, approximately 20 visits per day
Postpartum experience preferred; RNs circulate on cesarean sections and care for high-risk obstetric patients
40 hours of paid orientation to support your transition to the unit
Opportunity to work with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
First-time travelers welcome; comprehensive support throughout your assignment
Requirements:

Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP
Epic charting system experience required
Patient ratio experience of 1:3
Proficiency in core L&D skills including fetal monitoring, labor support, vaginal delivery assistance, C-section circulation, postpartum care, newborn assessment, and breastfeeding support
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Willingness to float to meet facility needs within scope of practice
Must not reside within 50-mile local radius
