Beachside acute care hospital in Santa Monica, California
Schedule:

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00); every other weekend required; may float to postpartum as needed; 13-week assignment
Highlights:

Work in a 266-bed acute care hospital with a beachside location serving approximately 200 deliveries per month
Unit includes 4 antepartum rooms, 9 labor/high risk rooms, and 3 triage rooms
No on-call required; facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
Epic charting system with 40 hours of orientation provided
Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations in a facility known for privacy and high-quality care
Requirements:

Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, and either AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM (AHA certifications required for ACLS/BLS)
Epic charting system experience required
Community hospital experience required
LA fire card within the last 30 days required
Skills required: fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, assist with vaginal deliveries, circulate for C-sections, sterile vaginal exams
Must be willing to float to postpartum and perform couplet care if needed
Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
